Inclusive spaces for Aotearoa’s tech community to connect, grow, and celebrate together.

We run conferences, meetups and community events that bring together people from across New Zealand's tech community to share practical experiences, lessons and ideas.

In May 2026, more than 400 people from over 100 organisations joined us in Wellington, to hear from our 23 local speakers. Watch our 2026 highlights reel to see what the day looked like.

We're now getting ready for NZ Tech Rally 2027. Call for speakers and ticket sales for 2027 now open.

NZ Tech Rally

About Us

NZ Tech Rally brings together the people who build, design, test and deliver technology across Aotearoa.

Learn about our mission, values, why we created this space and the crew behind NZ Tech Rally who organizes and runs our inclusive tech community meetups and conferences.

Monthly Tech Meetups

Introvert, extrovert or somewhere in-between? Our inclusive meetups are designed to welcome people from all backgrounds, cultures and those at different stages of their career.

We aim to run local meetups in Wellington on a monthly schedule suitable for software developers, engineers, testers and anyone who is interested in learning more about what the New Zealand Tech Industry has to offer.

Conferences

The most anticipated event we run each year is our annual NZ Tech Rally Conference that connects hundreds of people working across technology from software developers, engineers, testers, designers and more.

We're proud to mention that all of our conferences to date have featured at least 50% female speakers and more than 50% people of colour.

We look at gender, ethnicity, lived experience, and career stage to build a lineup that reflects Aotearoa's tech community and actively avoid tokenism.
