NZ Tech Rally does this by:
Showcasing NZ ingenuity in software building
Providing opportunities to grow our community’s network and impact
Creating safe, inclusive, accessible and diverse educational content
Sharing Kiwi adaptation of good software practices and emerging technologies
Why NZ Tech Rally exists
NZ has a lot of niche tech events and communities: product, security, cloud, mobile, JavaScript, robotics, and more.
NZ also has many events for management and leadership roles.
But there isn’t much that brings the whole software delivery team together.
We also noticed many talks lean on overseas case studies or international speakers. That has value. But we often overlook the great, relatable work happening right here in Aotearoa.
We want to create a space where engineers, testers, product managers, designers, UX, security, platform, and data folks can all come together.
A space to share how we solve real software engineering challenges in Aotearoa New Zealand.
Because we believe we get better by learning from each other, not working in silos.
