Accessibility Unlocked: The hands-on workshop to make your digital service more accessible

Spot quick accessibility wins in your own website or app and leave with actions to use.

Many organisations would like their websites or apps to be accessible, but often don’t know where to start or believe it will require significant effort and cost. But studies show that the majority of accessibility issues fall into the same 6 categories year-on-year, and that many accessibility improvements can be made quickly and easily while having a big impact on users.

In this hands-on workshop, participants will be led by an accessibility expert to explore the accessibility of their digital product/service. They’ll investigate their website or app through an accessibility lens, going through some common accessibility features to identify quick wins to improve their accessibility. The workshop takes a curious, non-judgmental approach, leaving participants with practical actions to implement right away. It’ll also review some tools to support on-going accessibility initiatives.
