Aleisha Amohia (Te Ātihaunui-a-Pāpārangi, Ngāti Maru, Ngāti Hāua, Cambodia, India) is an advocate for gender justice and Indigenous rights.

A Technical Lead at Catalyst, Aleisha drives open source projects while mentoring others in software development. She was recognised for her contributions to community organisations with a New Zealander of the Year 2025 Local Hero Medal.

Aleisha is the Track lead for Community, Culture & Wellbeing track and is on our 2026 talk selection committee.
